Payments of 1,500 hryvnias to Ukrainians have begun: who will receive the money and when
Payment of 1,500 hryvnias
Payments of an additional 1,500 hryvnias – as targeted support for pensioners and vulnerable groups in Ukraine – will begin on 1 April 2026.

This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

State assistance will be provided to: pensioners, people with disabilities, low-income families, those entitled to benefits, internally displaced persons, large families and single mothers.

The payment is a one-off, regardless of the number of categories to which a person belongs. It will be automatically credited to bank accounts or via Ukrposhta branches. Recipients do not need to submit applications, contact social welfare authorities or gather additional documents.

The reason for this additional support is the rise in fuel prices, which is affecting the cost of housing, food and services.
