A new round of negotiations between Ukrainian and Russian delegations may take place within three weeks. According to US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, this could be a step towards a summit meeting.

In an interview with Fox News, Steve Witkoff said that he and Jared Kushner had presented proposals to the parties that would bring Ukraine and Russia back to the negotiating table within three weeks.

According to him, these steps could pave the way for a summit between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin. A trilateral summit may follow, but the final decision rests with US President Donald Trump.

Vitkoff noted that the head of the White House would not participate in the meeting unless he was confident that the best possible outcome could be achieved.

The special envoy also expressed hope that in the coming weeks, the world may hear positive news about the negotiations.
