The Russian army's casualties have exceeded 1.31 million
Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022 up to April 2026 amount to approximately 1,313,970 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, losses totalled 1,010 military personnel.
These figures were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to military sources, the Russian army has also lost 11,864 tanks, one per day. A total of 24,390 armoured fighting vehicles have been lost, one per day. The number of artillery systems has risen to 40,003, with 50 units destroyed in the past 24 hours.
Losses of multiple launch rocket systems amount to 1,736 units, four per day. 1,346 air defence systems have been destroyed, unchanged over the past 24 hours.
The number of aircraft remains at 435, and helicopters at 350. A total of 239,241 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed, with 1,388 destroyed in the past 24 hours.
4,517 cruise missiles have been recorded, unchanged. There are 33 ships and boats, and two submarines.
89,553 vehicles and tankers have been lost, with 253 lost over the past 24 hours. 4,125 pieces of specialist equipment, with two lost over the past 24 hours.
