Over the past day, Russia has lost another 930 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. The total losses of the Russian army personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1.27 million people.

The total combat losses of Russian troops from 24 February 2022 to 8 March 2026 amount to approximately 1,273,290 personnel. Over the previous day, the Russian army lost another 930 soldiers.

During this time, the Russian Federation lost 11,742 tanks, including five in the last 24 hours. A total of 24,157 armoured combat vehicles were destroyed, including six in the last 24 hours.

Russia's artillery system losses amount to 38,059 units, with an increase of 55 over the past day. 1,673 multiple launch rocket systems have been lost, three of them over the past day.

The Russian army's air defence forces lost 1,322 pieces of equipment. In addition, 435 aircraft and 349 helicopters were destroyed.

The losses of tactical-level drones amount to 164,416 units, including 2,558 over the past day. In addition, the Russian army lost 4,403 cruise missiles, including 19 over the past day.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 30 ships or boats and two submarines have also been destroyed.

The losses of motor vehicles and tankers amount to 82,101 units, including 289 over the past day. A total of 4,083 units of special equipment have been destroyed, including three over the past day.
