Notary Kristina Gornak spoke candidly in an interview with Alina Dorotyuk about her relationship with her ex-husband, TV presenter Volodymyr Ostapchuk. According to her, the marriage was plagued by alcohol problems, arguments and humiliation.

Notary Khristina Gornak gave an extensive interview in which she spoke about her relationship with her ex-husband, TV presenter Volodymyr Ostapchuk.

According to her, their story began well but ended in scandal. Gornak shared the details in an interview with Alina Dorotyuk, which was published today.

Khristina Gornak stated that Volodymyr Ostapchuk had problems with alcohol. She said that she began recording their last arguments on video because, according to her, her husband remembered nothing or remembered poorly in the morning.

"I recorded the last two arguments so that I could show them to him. I never imagined in my worst nightmare that I would have to go public with this to protect myself," Khristina said.

The notary said that there were both good and bad moments in their marriage.

"Unfortunately, the terrible moments killed everything that kept me in this marriage," she added.

Gornak recalled that Volodymyr, according to her, would drink and not spend the night at home.

She cited an instance when Ostapchuk was hosting a corporate event outside the city. In the evening, according to Christina, the host wrote to her that he was already on his way home, and in the morning he had a scheduled broadcast on one of the Ukrainian TV channels.

"I went to bed. I woke up around 6 a.m. to my phone ringing off the hook. I didn't understand who was calling. I picked up the phone, and it was Lena, a girl from the channel, saying, 'Khristina, excuse me, but where is Volodymyr? He's going on air in 20 minutes.' I turned to my right, and he was gone," said Gornak.

She assumed that her husband might have fallen asleep in the guest room, but he wasn't there. Her first thought was that something had happened to Ostapchuk, so she called him.

"He picked up the phone, and there was a completely incomprehensible conversation. I started to figure it out. It turned out that when he was about to go home, he had a drink with his clients, and then, as he liked to say, 'I passed out and woke up'. I said, 'How come you didn't come home?' Then his assistant convinced me that nothing had happened, that he had had a drink and fallen asleep in his room. They sent photographic evidence that he had slept fully clothed. Instead of coming home and apologising for what he had done, he stayed there for another two days," recalled Ostapchuk's ex-wife.

At the same time, Khristina admitted that she saw his despair and his plea for forgiveness, so she believed that Volodymyr would not do it again.

She added that this was "the first sign of understanding that a person has no limits when they consume alcohol."

According to Gornak, there was not a single celebration that did not end in scandal.

She also claims that Ostapchuk could get behind the wheel drunk and drive to a hotel to spend the night.

In addition, according to the notary, while intoxicated, her husband humiliated her, and their friends witnessed this.

The article also mentions that Ostapchuk and Gornak met on 19 August 2019 at a wedding where he was the host and she was a guest. At first, they just talked, but then they started a relationship.

On 19 August 2020, on the anniversary of their meeting, Ostapchuk proposed to Khristina in Istanbul.

Khristina and Volodymyr were together for three years, two of which they were married.

The couple married in October 2020 and divorced in October 2022.
