Which Ukrainian athletes will be competing at the 2026 Paralympics on 14 March?
Saturday, 14 March marks the eighth day of competition at the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games, taking place in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo (Italy).
Eight Ukrainian athletes will be competing today. Members of the Ukrainian team will take part in para-cross-country skiing, where relay races will be held involving athletes in three categories — sitting, standing and visually impaired.

Ukraine’s position in the medal table
After the seventh day of competition, the Ukrainian team is in 7th place in the medal table at the 2026 Paralympics. The team’s tally stands at 3 gold medals, 6 silver and 7 bronze. In total, Ukrainian athletes have won 16 medals.
The Ukrainian team
Ukraine is represented by a record-breaking team at the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games. The delegation comprises 35 athletes, including 25 Paralympic athletes and 10 guide athletes who assist participants with visual impairments.
It should be noted that the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has admitted six athletes from Russia and four from Belarus to compete in the Games. They will compete under their countries’ flags and are entitled to use national symbols, as well as to have their national anthems played during the medal ceremonies.
