Ukrainian defence forces continue to inflict losses on the Russian army. Over the past day, Russian losses amounted to 980 military personnel and 32 artillery systems.

The total combat losses of Russian troops from 24 February 2022 to 4 March 2026 in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,269,500 personnel. Over the previous day, the Russian army lost another 980 soldiers. These figures were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, a significant amount of enemy military equipment has also been destroyed. In particular, the Russian army has lost 11,723 tanks, including five in the past 24 hours.

A total of 24,135 armoured combat vehicles have been destroyed, including 4 in the last 24 hours. The number of artillery systems destroyed has reached 37,874, with another 32 eliminated in the last 24 hours.

The losses of Russian multiple launch rocket systems amount to 1,667 units, including 2 over the past day. 1,319 air defence systems have been destroyed.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has also lost 435 aircraft and 348 helicopters.

The number of tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles destroyed is 156,431, including 1,733 in the last 24 hours. In addition, 4,384 cruise missiles have been lost.

Russian troops also lost 30 ships or boats and two submarines.

The losses of motor vehicles and tankers amount to 81,224 units, of which 232 were destroyed in the last 24 hours. A total of 4,078 units of special equipment were destroyed, including 2 in the last 24 hours.
