The total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022 to 5 March 2026 amount to approximately 1,270,400 personnel. Over the previous day, personnel losses amounted to 900 military personnel.
These figures were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, Russia has lost 11,727 tanks since the start of the full-scale war, including four in the last 24 hours.
The number of armoured combat vehicles destroyed is 24,142, including 7 in the last 24 hours.
The losses of Russian artillery systems are estimated at 37,915 units, with another 41 systems destroyed in the last 24 hours.
Also destroyed are 1,667 multiple launch rocket systems and 1,319 air defence systems.
The losses of the Russian Federation's aviation amount to 435 aircraft and 348 helicopters.
A total of 158,381 tactical-level drones have been destroyed, including 1,950 in the last 24 hours.
The number of cruise missiles destroyed is 4,384.
Thirty ships or boats and two submarines have also been lost.
The losses of motor vehicles and tankers amount to 81,434 units, including 210 in the last 24 hours.
In addition, the Russian army lost 4,079 units of special equipment, including one in the last 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the data is being clarified.
