У березні кількість знищених повітряних цілей росіян зросла до 55%, якщо порівнювати з лютим. Так, протягом одного місяця вдалося перехопити щонайменше 2,3 тисячі дронів.

This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

According to him, Ukrainian-made drones are proving to be the most effective. Ukraine plans to increase the number of interceptor UAVs, particularly those equipped with automatic guidance systems. At the same time, he added that Russia is also “increasing production, modernising its drones and refining their deployment”.

Furthermore, throughout March, Russian aerial targets were successfully shot down using aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces and mobile fire groups. Separate anti-aircraft machine-gun battalions are also being deployed for air defence. In particular, over the past month, Ukrainian helicopters destroyed 379 enemy strike drones.

As Syrskyi explained, the military is currently working on integrating artificial intelligence into air defence systems. This involves increasing the level of automation for both interceptor drones and air and ground-based firepower.
