Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on a telephone conversation with Romanian President Nicușor Danoma.
Ukraine and Romania are coordinating their actions following the attack
According to Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian side is ready to support Romania’s security, as Romania has been helping Ukraine resist Russian aggression since the start of the full-scale war. The President also stated that the Ukrainian and Romanian military are in contact, and the issue of further cooperation is already being discussed at the level of specialist teams.
“We will remain in constant communication with Romania and will continue to work together to protect lives from all potential Russian threats,” Zelenskyy said.
During the conversation, the head of state expressed his condolences to those affected by the night-time attack by a Russian drone on a residential building in Galați, Romania, and wished them a speedy recovery.
