Zolochiv has been included in the mandatory evacuation zone in the Kharkiv region
The logistics routes have been approved and tested.
In the Kharkiv region, the mandatory evacuation zone has been extended in the Zolochiv area due to the security situation and sustained Russian shelling.

This was announced by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

The Kharkiv Regional Defence Council has decided to extend the mandatory evacuation zone in the Zolochiv direction.

According to Oleg Synyegubov, the decision was taken due to the security situation and sustained enemy shelling.

The meeting of the Regional Defence Council was attended by military personnel, rescue workers, representatives of law enforcement agencies and heads of district military administrations.

Where people will be evacuated from

The mandatory evacuation will apply to seven settlements in the Bohodukhiv district.

The list includes the town of Zolochiv, as well as the villages of Pysarivka, Hur’iv, Lemishchyne, Malyzhyne, Merlo and Morozova Dolyna.

In total, 7,157 people are to be transported to safer settlements. Among them are 1,702 children and 311 people with reduced mobility.

What assistance is promised to those being evacuated

Synyegubov reported that the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, together with volunteer organisations and charitable foundations, is providing internally displaced persons with the necessary support.

This includes temporary accommodation, medical, humanitarian and legal assistance.

According to the head of the Regional State Administration, the logistics routes for the evacuation have already been approved and finalised.
