The NABU and SAP do not notice dishonest individuals if they are "their own people"

NABU and SAP
The Anti-Corruption Centre has raised questions about the wealth and career advancement of NABU detective Mykhailo Burtovoy, who is running for the position of head of the State Customs Service. The publication discusses his family's assets and the circumstances surrounding his doctoral thesis defence.

After reading a post by the anti-corruption centre MEZHA about the wealth and exceptional intellectual abilities in the field of science of a certain NABU detective, Mykhailo Burtovoy, who has already fought corruption in the state within the ranks of NABU, managed to write and defend his doctoral dissertation "without taking time off from work" in ONE YEAR, and now he wants to head the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

And here my jaw drops once again, not because of power surges in the cold and dark city of Kyiv, but because of the blatant mockery of all of us by these fighters. Let's go through the points!

After all, this anti-corruption figure is trying in all seriousness to convince ordinary people that since childhood he has saved up to 80% of his income, has eaten exclusively from parcels sent from his village his entire life (and here I somehow remembered the head of the AMCU, Kirilenko, with his father's raspberries), his mother received 60+ land plots during his difficult struggle in the NABU with the hydra of corruption, while having no honest explanation for the ownership of this property. Because I have already seen this incredible coincidence in the Verkhovna Rada of this convocation. As soon as Klchko, a deputy from the Servant of the People party, became not only a member of parliament but also the head of the Verkhovna Rada committee, his mother and sister began buying up assets - land, apartments, houses and even a Tesla. But don't get carried away, because Klochko was rightly suspected of corruption for this, and NABU detective Burtovoy continues to fight corruption. And NABU does not notice this. Just as it did not notice the trade in sanctions by Bakanov and Naumov. An interesting coincidence, isn't it?

In general, this candidate of sciences and head of customs has gathered the whole complex of a happy civil servant - incomprehensible property of relatives, cars at undervalued prices, savings from nurseries, a penchant for science without harm to the service. Perhaps he even managed to obtain a lawyer's certificate while working as a detective, also "without interruption from production"?

Nowadays, it is fashionable to be both an investigator and a lawyer at the same time, or to promise to go to the front and become a lawyer.

It is also interesting why our activists and professional anti-corruption activists see all this and write about it, while the anti-corruption activists themselves are blind as bats in their own house, because the NABU has its own internal control department, which should be the first to see and react to this. But it did not see it.

And even now they don't see or don't want to see, because "he's a son of a bitch, but he's our son of a bitch." Or maybe they've been bewitched by Yermak's magicians...

And in general, it has somehow become a tradition for SAP prosecutors and NABU detectives to storm various competitions en masse, where the commission with international experts recognises them as "unworthy" of heading the agency because there are signs of "dishonesty," but at the same time, this does not prevent them from continuing to work in the anti-corruption system. So, foreign members of the commissions recognise them as unfit to head the structures due to questions about their integrity, but NABU believes that with such integrity they can fight corruption? Does no one see any contradictions here? Maybe that's why Yermak still hasn't been charged, Mindich left Ukraine ahead of time, and NABU doesn't really want to deal with the cases of Bakanov and Naumov? There are more and more questions.
