Skomasas Urbonas, winner of the national maths Olympiad in Norway, has donated his entire cash prize to support Ukraine. The sum amounts to 15,000 Norwegian kroner – approximately 1,330 euros.
On 16 April 2026, spring-like warm weather is expected in Ukraine, with temperatures reaching up to +19 degrees. At the same time, light rain is forecast in some regions, whilst the east, south and most of the centre will remain dry.

The 34th meeting of the Contact Group on Defence Issues for Ukraine, held in the ‘Ramstein’ format, began in Berlin on 15 April. The meeting is taking place in a hybrid format, with Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, British Defence Minister John Gile and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte attending in person.

However, the Ministry of Digital Transformation announced the launch of such a service back in autumn 2025, and certain services related to divorce are already available on the Diya portal – in particular, the issuance of extracts and the reissuance of certificates.
During a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping stated that China and Russia must “trust one another”, support one another and strengthen strategic coordination. The meeting took place on 15 April against the backdrop of active contacts between Moscow and Beijing on international issues, in particular the war in Ukraine and the situation surrounding Iran.
