The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed a decree appointing Kirill Budanov as the new head of the Council for Entrepreneurship Support, succeeding his predecessor, Andriy Yermak. This decision forms part of a shake-up of personnel policy within the Office of the President.

According to the document, several significant changes have also taken place within the Council. In addition to Oleksii Sobolev, Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the President’s Office, has been appointed Second Deputy Chair of the Council. Meanwhile, Larysa Yaremchuk has been appointed Secretary of the Council, replacing Yurii Katsion, who has been appointed Chairman of Oschadbank.

As for business representatives, the Council’s composition has remained largely unchanged. The new members are Pavlo Razdobarov, Deputy Director of the VID Garment Company, and Andriy Vadatursky, CEO of Nibulon. Another significant change was the election of a new business ombudswoman: Anka Feldhusen has replaced Roman Vashchuk as a member of the Council.

This is the first major reshuffle of the Council since its significant expansion in 2025, when its membership was increased to 82 people. The reform, as part of national resilience and support for entrepreneurship, has become an important part of the government’s strategy aimed at strengthening the country’s economic stability.

As a reminder, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, told journalists that the appointment of a deputy for economic affairs is currently at the approval stage.
