This is according to Reuters.

The shooting took place near the occupied West Bank of the River Jordan. According to Israeli law enforcement officials, the attacker opened fire in several locations, after which large numbers of police and military personnel arrived at the scene. A 35-year-old man was killed in the attack. Five other people were injured, two of whom are in a serious condition. The Israeli ambulance service reported that the attack appeared to have been a drive-by shooting.

What is known about the attacker

According to police, the suspect was an Israeli Arab from the town of Tayibe. He was shot dead, and a firearm was found at the scene. Israeli media are also reporting the death of a second possible attacker. Law enforcement officers have located a vehicle believed to have been used in the attack. A search operation in the area is ongoing, and the public has been urged to remain vigilant.
