Cash withdrawal limits from 1 July 2026: how much can you withdraw from different banks’ ATMs?
From 1 July 2026, limits on cash withdrawals from ATMs will remain in place in Ukraine.
From 1 July 2026, limits on cash withdrawals from ATMs will remain in place in Ukraine. The overall limit set by the National Bank of Ukraine is 100,000 UAH per day; however, each bank may impose its own additional limits.

Under the rules of the National Bank of Ukraine, customers may withdraw up to 100,000 UAH in cash from their account per day.

This limit applies to both ATMs and bank counters.

What limits has PrivatBank set?

PrivatBank continues to impose a limit on cash withdrawals via ATMs.

Customers can withdraw up to 10,000 UAH within three hours. The total daily limit is 100,000 UAH.

For some customers, the limit may be lower — 20,000 UAH over three hours.

At the same time, withdrawals from cards issued by other banks at PrivatBank ATMs are limited to a maximum of 20,000 UAH per transaction.

What are the rules at Oschadbank?

At Oschadbank, the daily limit also complies with the NBU’s requirements and stands at 100,000 UAH.

For mass-market cards, the standard limit is set at 10,000 UAH per day, though this can be changed via the contact centre or the ‘Oschad 24’ app.

In addition, a single Oschadbank ATM allows a maximum withdrawal of 25,000 UAH within three hours.

What are the limits at Sense Bank?

Sense Bank applies the NBU’s general daily limit of up to 100,000 UAH.

However, the maximum withdrawal amount depends on the limit set for the specific bank card.

Why do banks impose limits?

Limits help to maintain the stable operation of the banking system under martial law.

They help prevent mass cash withdrawals, ensure funds are distributed evenly across regions, and guarantee the uninterrupted operation of ATMs.

In addition, banks use such limits as one of the financial monitoring mechanisms to counteract suspicious transactions.

If you need to withdraw a large amount of cash, it is advisable to check the terms and conditions with your bank in advance or contact its cash desk.
