Chernihiv and Phoenix-Mariupol will face each other in the quarter-finals of the Ukrainian Cup

On Tuesday, 17 March, the final match of the Ukrainian Cup quarter-finals will take place. In Chernihiv, the home team will host Fenix-Mariupol.

The match will take place at the Chernihiv Arena stadium and will kick off at 12:00. This will be the sixth official meeting between the two sides. Phoenix-Mariupol hold the upper hand in head-to-head encounters, having won three times; one match ended in a draw, and Chernihiv won once.

To reach this stage, Chernihiv beat Atlet 1–0, secured a 3–0 walkover victory over Kryvbas, and progressed past Lisne following a 1–1 draw and a 5–4 penalty shoot-out.

Under the management of Maksym Feshchuk, Phoenix-Mariupol beat Fazenda 1–0, as well as defeating Metalurh and Agrotech following 1–1 draws in penalty shootouts, winning 4–2 and 7–6 respectively.

The other semi-finalists in the tournament had already been decided. They are Dynamo, Bukovyna and Metalist 1925, who progressed past Ingulets, LNZ and Lokomotiv.

The match will be broadcast live on the UPL TV channel, which is available on OTT platforms and cable networks, including MEGOGO, Setanta Sports, sweet.tv, Omega TV, Volia TV, Kyivstar TV and Vodafone TV.
