Are they planning to evacuate Kyiv residents: what did the Kyiv City State Administration say?
Evacuation of the population from Kyiv is not currently being considered. The city authorities are focused on supporting people who cannot take care of themselves. This was reported by hromadske with reference to the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
The KMDA explained that the relevant information was processed based on data from the Department of Housing and Communal Infrastructure. According to city officials, social services continue to work with residents who need help, in particular, assisting with relocation to safer conditions, providing hot meals, care, and necessary medicines.
The city administration also called on Kyiv residents to report people in need of outside help to district state administrations or the KSCA Department of Social and Veteran Policy so that support can be provided promptly and in a targeted manner.
The Kyiv City State Administration emphasises that the city continues to function as usual, and all services are working to ensure the functioning of the capital and support the most vulnerable categories of the population.
