Defence forces have struck two bridges in the occupied territory and a number of key enemy targets

On 29 June and during the night of 30 June, the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out strikes against a number of key Russian military targets in the temporarily occupied territories and within the Russian Federation. Two bridges, drone control centres and an occupiers’ command and observation post were hit.

On 29 June and during the night of 30 June, units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out strikes against a number of key Russian military targets as part of measures to reduce the aggressor country’s military and economic capabilities.

A road bridge in the area of the temporarily occupied Azov region of Zaporizhzhia Oblast was hit. A railway bridge near the village of Ichki in the temporarily occupied Crimea was also struck.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that Russian forces use these facilities to transport personnel, weapons, ammunition and logistical supplies. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

In addition to the bridges, the Defence Forces struck enemy drone control centres in the areas of Vesela Lopana in the Belgorod Oblast, Komar in the Donetsk Oblast, as well as Mirne, Lugove and Skelyok in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

A command and observation post of the Russian occupying forces in the Staromlynivka area of the Donetsk region was also targeted.

The General Staff has also published updated results of the strike on the ‘Sloviansky’ oil refinery in Sloviansk-na-Kubani, Krasnodar Krai, Russian Federation, which was carried out on 28 June.

According to confirmed reports, four storage tanks with a total capacity of 35,000 cubic metres were destroyed. A further nine tanks with a total capacity of 30,000 cubic metres were damaged. An oil refinery unit was also damaged.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces stated that they will continue to carry out operations aimed at reducing the capabilities of the Russian army and putting an end to the Russian Federation’s armed aggression.
