The Ministry of Economy has approved payments under the scheme to reimburse 25% of the cost of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery.

This has been announced by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.

A record sum of 353.8 million hryvnias will be distributed among 1,113 agricultural producers who purchased 2,316 units of equipment in March 2026. The greatest demand was recorded for machinery for soil cultivation, sowing and irrigation.

“The programme is part of the ‘Made in Ukraine’ strategy and demonstrates steady growth: over two years, farmers have purchased nearly 17,000 machines totalling 12.2 billion UAH,” said Oleksiy Sobolev, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.

Currently, the state list of certified machinery eligible for reimbursement includes over 13,680 items from 147 local factories with a localisation level of at least 60%.

The government’s policy is aimed at further supporting the sector, in particular by increasing incentives for de-occupied and high-risk regions.

From April 2026, farmers whose land is located in the combat zone can expect increased compensation amounting to 40% of the cost of the machinery. This is intended to stimulate the recovery of agricultural production in frontline regions and utilise the capacity of the Ukrainian machinery manufacturing sector.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that farmers in the combat zone would be compensated for up to 40% of the cost of machinery.
