NATO Secretary General Rutte to join Ramstein meeting on 16 December
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will join a meeting of the Contact Group on Defence of Ukraine in the Ramstein format on Tuesday, 16 December. This was reported by the Alliance's press service.
The meeting will be held online and will bring together Ukraine's partners from NATO and non-NATO countries. The Ramstein format has remained a key platform for coordinating assistance since its inception in 2022 and brings together more than 50 nations.
During the meeting, the parties will focus on further military support for Ukraine, harmonisation of arms supplies and synchronisation of assistance between partners. They are expected to discuss the priority needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the winter and the ongoing war.
