Total losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1.3 million.

As of 4 May 2026, the total combat losses of Russian forces since 24 February 2022 stand at approximately 1,335,150 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a further 1,120 soldiers have been eliminated.

Furthermore, according to the General Staff, the Russian army has lost 11,914 tanks, six of them in the last 24 hours, 24,507 armoured fighting vehicles, four in the last 24 hours, and 41,306 artillery systems, 113 of which were lost in the last 24 hours.

Losses among multiple launch rocket systems amount to 1,767 units, and air defence systems to 1,357 units. The number of aircraft destroyed stands at 435, and helicopters at 352.

Losses of 1,317 ground-based robotic systems have also been recorded, 11 of them in the last 24 hours; 272,062 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, 2,249 of them in the last 24 hours; and 4,584 cruise missiles, five of them in the last 24 hours.

In addition, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 93,824 vehicles and tankers, of which 268 in the last 24 hours, and 4,168 units of specialised equipment, of which 17 in the last 24 hours, have been destroyed.
