The General Staff has simplified the procedure for transferring military personnel between units
This was reported by the General Staff’s press service.
They noted that a ‘simplified mechanism’ has already been introduced for sending a letter of recommendation for a serviceman from the military unit to which he wishes to transfer, to the military unit where he is currently serving.
The General Staff emphasised that the mechanism introduced guarantees that the letter of recommendation will definitely be considered by the commander of the military unit “as soon as possible”. Thanks to this, the serviceman will not need to submit the letter of recommendation to lower-level commanders (squad, platoon, company, battalion).
“This reduces subjective factors in decision-making and the number of approvals required from heads of structural units,” the press service added.
