During massive night strikes, Russian troops hit infrastructure facilities in several regions of Ukraine, causing deaths and injuries.

On the night of 7 March, Russian troops carried out another massive attack on Ukrainian territory. The strikes damaged residential and critical infrastructure in various regions of the country.

This was reported on Telegram by Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery — Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.

According to him, the strikes were carried out on Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk region and other regions.

The attacks resulted in deaths and injuries, including an infant. Doctors are providing assistance to all those injured.

Transport and port infrastructure facilities were also hit. In particular, drones attacked four railway substations in the Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia regions, as well as several railway bridges. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties at these facilities.

Due to the damage, some trains were temporarily rerouted, and restoration work is already underway on all sections.

During the air raid alert, more than 20 passenger trains were stopped in safe places. The official noted that this is a standard safety procedure aimed at protecting passengers and railway workers.

In addition, Russian troops attacked port infrastructure in the Odesa region. The strikes caused a fire in vegetable oil tanks and damaged a grain warehouse. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties. Rescuers are working to eliminate the consequences.

Damage to port facilities has also been reported at another port.

According to Oleksiy Kuleba, all relevant services are involved in the work to restore the damaged infrastructure as quickly as possible and ensure uninterrupted logistics.
