Actor couple Kateryna Tyshkevych and Valentin Tomusyak are expecting their first child. They shared the news in an interview with journalist Alina Dorotyuk.

Kateryna Tyshkevych is currently five months pregnant. Valentin Tomusyak said that the couple have already entered the second trimester.

How the couple planned the pregnancy

According to Tyshkevich, she and her husband had wanted a child for a long time, but were in no hurry due to her health and treatment.

The actress explained that she stopped taking antidepressants almost two years ago and switched to a different medication which, she said, is compatible with pregnancy. After consulting with their doctor, the couple decided to try for a baby.

Tishkevich noted that she hadn’t expected to fall pregnant so quickly. She said that in January, she and her husband decided to try, and by February she was already pregnant.

How the first trimester went

The first trimester, according to the actress, was difficult. Tishkevich explained that hormonal changes had exacerbated her headaches and also affected her emotional state.

In the eighth week of pregnancy, she said, there was a risk of miscarriage. The actress explained that she woke up in the night due to bleeding and spent the following week in hospital for observation.

Now, according to Tishkevich, the baby is doing well.

What the actress says about how she is feeling

Tishkevich noted that she is feeling better, but her headaches have not completely gone away.

According to the actress, she continues to feel unwell due to the weather and thunderstorms. At the same time, under the supervision of doctors, including her mother, a neurologist, she is trying a new treatment, which has recently made her feel better.

What is known about Kateryna Tyshkevych’s condition

Kateryna Tyshkevych spoke publicly about her severe headaches in 2022. According to her, the exact cause of this condition had long remained undiagnosed.

At the end of 2023, the actress was admitted to intensive care due to sepsis. At that time, doctors placed her in a medically induced coma for a period.
