The Wrocław police suspect four men, who are nationals of Ukraine, Tunisia and Kazakhstan, of kidnapping two Ukrainian men. According to the investigation, the men beat the victims and demanded money from them.

This has been reported by the Wrocław police.

The incident took place at the end of May. According to the police, the 20-year-old Ukrainians were forcibly dragged into a car and taken to the basement of a restaurant in Wrocław.

Investigators have established that the suspects in the abduction beat the men and threatened them. They were also allegedly forced to give up the passwords to their banking apps, borrow money from friends and find as much cash as possible to hand over to the kidnappers.

During the investigation, law enforcement officers detained four nationals of Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Tunisia, aged between 25 and 30. They are suspected of unlawful detention, armed robbery, extortion and assault. The court has ordered that each of them be remanded in custody.
