On the afternoon of 28 April, debris was reported to have fallen in the Shevchenkivskyi and Solomianskyi districts of the capital during a drone attack. One person was injured as a result of the incident.

On 28 April in Kyiv, explosions were heard during an air raid alert. The Air Force had warned of the threat of drone attacks, and air defence forces were deployed in the city.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, debris from a drone fell onto the roof of an unfinished building. This caused a fire, damaged the building’s façade and partially destroyed the roof structure. Firefighters extinguished two minor fires.

In the Solomyanskyi district, debris from the drone fell onto the grounds of a cemetery. A fire broke out in the rubbish there, which has been extinguished.
