In April, the cost of new-build housing rose in most regions, with Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast recording the highest price growth.

This is reported on the ‘Ekonomichna Pravda’ website, citing DIM.RIA.

The Ivano-Frankivsk region led the way in terms of price increases, with the cost per square metre jumping by 11%. Meanwhile, the Kharkiv region saw the sharpest fall in prices – by 6.3%.

Kyiv retains its status as the most expensive market: the average price per square metre in the capital reached $1,438. The highest prices are traditionally found in the Pecherskyi district ($2,676), whilst the most affordable options are available in the Desnianskyi district ($865).

Buyer interest was unevenly distributed. The largest influx of clients was observed in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where demand rose by 22%. Kyiv and the western regions also showed positive growth (within 7%).

In contrast, in the frontline and central regions, particularly in the Sumy and Kirovohrad regions, interest in housing fell by 20%.
