After the enemy's night attack on three districts of the Kyiv region — Bila Tserkva, Bucha, and Vyshhorod — the aftermath of the strikes on the railway infrastructure is being dealt with. A fire train was deployed in Fastiv.

On the night of December 6, the enemy launched a massive attack on Kyiv region — missiles and drones struck peaceful settlements. The Bila Tserkva, Bucha, and Vyshhorod districts, as well as the railway hub in Fastiv, came under fire.

Fires broke out at several sites: in Bila Tserkva — a fire covering an area of about 5,200 m²; in Fastiv — the fire was localized over an area of 3,000 m². More than a hundred rescuers and the State Emergency Service aviation were involved in the firefighting efforts. In Fastiv, where railway infrastructure was damaged, a fire train was sent to assist.

As a result of the strikes, the station and the motor-car depot were damaged. Due to this, Ukrzaliznytsia rearranged passenger train operations — some routes were canceled, others changed. Dispatchers are organizing transfers and new logistics schemes.

Work to eliminate the consequences is ongoing. Rescuers urge the population to stay in safe places and be cautious.
