Mriya.Preschool is being rolled out in 40 nurseries: what will change for parents and nursery staff
This was announced by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The state educational ecosystem “Mriya” is being rolled out to nurseries.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation is launching the Mriya.Preschool pilot – a digital tool for the day-to-day operations of pre-school institutions and communication with parents.
Before the full launch, the app and web portal will be tested in 40 nurseries across six regions of Ukraine.
The pilot will include pre-school institutions in the Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation notes that the pilot will cover both nurseries in large cities and institutions in remote villages and frontline communities. This should help to test the tool in various conditions and make it user-friendly for all users.
What teachers will gain
For teachers, Mriya.Preschool is designed to simplify routine tasks.
It will be possible to keep journals, record attendance, plan lessons and produce reports in digital format.
Mriya’s AI will also help to create lesson plans.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation explains that this should reduce the time teachers spend on paperwork.
What will change for nursery managers
For heads of pre-school education institutions, Mriya.Preschool provides tools for organising daily processes.
This includes management, reporting and coordination of the institution’s work.
Digital services are designed to help administrations work with data more quickly and reduce the burden on internal processes.
What parents will see
For parents, Mriya.Preschool is designed to be a tool for engaging with their child’s life at nursery.
They will be able to view information about the educational process, leisure activities, the child’s day, their mood, achievements and the teachers’ observations.
Parents will receive details of what their child has been doing, what they have been learning, how they have been feeling, and what the teacher has noticed.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation emphasises that, in wartime, this is also a matter of peace of mind, trust and swift communication with the nursery.
When the service will be available to everyone
Following the pilot phase, Mriya.Preschool is set to become available to all nurseries in Ukraine.
The service will be free of charge for institutions, teachers and parents.
It is specifically noted that the launch should not place an additional burden on local budgets.
You can find out how to connect a nursery to the Mriya.Preschool pilot on the Ministry of Digital Transformation’s website.
