Eight cars collided on the Kyiv-Chop highway, traffic has been restored
A road accident involving eight vehicles occurred on 20 December in the Rivne region near the village of Bila Krynytsia on the international highway M 06 Kyiv Chop. This was reported by the Patrol Police of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, there were victims of the accident. The number of injured and their condition are being clarified. Patrol police, rescuers and medics are working at the scene.
As a result of the accident, traffic on one of the key transport arteries in western Ukraine is significantly hampered. Reverse traffic has been arranged to ensure traffic flow. Drivers are urged to take the situation into account when planning their routes and choose alternative routes if possible.
The M 06 Kyiv Chop road is one of the busiest in Ukraine and provides daily traffic of thousands of cars, including transit vehicles in the direction of the EU.
