Naftogaz is switching to a new format for gas bills: what will change
Electronic gas bill
Naftogaz of Ukraine has urged consumers to stop using paper gas bills and switch to electronic bills via the “Kub” app. In June, the tariff for the company’s domestic customers will remain unchanged at 7.96 UAH per cubic metre.

The gas supplier Naftogaz of Ukraine has announced a new billing format.

Gas supplier Naftogaz of Ukraine is urging customers to stop using paper gas bills.

Instead of the usual paper bill, consumers can receive an electronic bill via the “Kub” mobile app.

The company explains that the app stores an archive of bills. The information is organised, so users can view their payment history and track their gas consumption.

According to the company, paper bills can be accessed in electronic format with just a few taps.

How to opt out of paper bills

The holder of a personal account can opt out of receiving paper bills.

To do this, in the “Kub” app, go to the “Billing History” section, select “My Payments” and “Current Bill”.

After payment, a “Opt out of paper bills” button should appear.

After clicking this button, the customer will switch to the new format for receiving bills.

What will the gas tariff be in June

In June 2026, Naftogaz’s domestic customers will pay for gas at a fixed tariff of 7.96 UAH per cubic metre.

It was previously reported that the gas supply company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” has extended the “Fixed” tariff plan until 30 April 2027. For domestic consumers, the price remains at 7.96 UAH per cubic metre.

Consumers can also pay for gas using funds from the “National Cashback” programme, provided they are eligible under the programme’s rules.
