Natalia Boiko appointed acting CEO of Ukraine`s gas transmission system operator
At its meeting on 7 February 2026, the Supervisory Board of LLC Operator of the Gas Transmission System of Ukraine decided to appoint Nataliia Boiko as acting CEO of the company. This was reported by OGTSU.
Earlier, the Supervisory Board included Deputy CEO Nataliia Boiko in the company's management board. As of today, the management board of GTS Operator of Ukraine consists of Nataliia Boiko, Vladyslav Medvedev, Borys Liubych, Kateryna Kovalenko, and Oleksandr Tymofieiev.
Natalia Boiko has over 15 years of professional experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining OGTSU, she served as Deputy Chair of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, worked as an advisor to two Prime Ministers of Ukraine, and served as Deputy Minister of Energy for European Integration.
As previously reported, the competition for the position of head of the strategic state-owned enterprise GTS Operator of Ukraine was suspended in November due to the publication of materials from the NABU investigation into possible abuses at NAEK Energoatom, which involved one of the finalists in the selection process. According to the publication Ekonomichna Pravda, the supervisory board was then preparing to appoint Oksana Kryvenko as the company's CEO.
Since April 2025, Vladislav Medvedev has been temporarily performing the duties of head of OGTSU. The new decision of the supervisory board determined the further model of company management until the completion of the competitive procedures.
