Russian drones have started dropping anti-tank mines with magnetic detonators en masse, hoping to blow up rescuers and police. The snow makes these traps almost impossible to spot.

Dangerous tactics of Russian attacks have been recorded in different regions of Ukraine - Shahed attack drones drop PTM-3 anti-tank mines directly during or after the fall. This was reported by communications specialist Sergei “Flash”

According to him, mines can be installed both to mine certain areas of the terrain and deliberately near the point of the drone's crash. The enemy is counting on the fact that a rescue, police or other vehicle will drive up to the wreckage of the Shahed and blow up. A magnetic detonator that reacts to metal is particularly dangerous.

The expert notes that this practice has been used before, but the threat has increased significantly due to deep snow. If in the warm season mines could often be detected visually, now they are virtually invisible.

In this regard, Flash called for a categorical refrain from approaching the sites of the Shahedi fall by car, especially when driving along the likely trajectory of their descent. Even an apparently safe zone can be mined.

According to available information, the PTM-3 mines are square in shape, and they are transported on board the drone in special containers, photos of which have already been recorded in different parts of the country.
