Shelling of regions in Ukraine over the past 24 hours – there are fatalities and injuries

Russian troops are continuing their attacks on Ukrainian regions. There have been casualties, injuries and damage to infrastructure.

Zaporizhzhia Region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out 823 strikes on 38 settlements in the region. As a result of the attacks in the Zaporizhzhia and Polohiv districts, one person was killed and four others were injured. Thirty-six reports of damage to infrastructure, homes and vehicles have been recorded.

Dnipropetrovsk region
Since the evening, the enemy has attacked three districts of the region more than ten times using drones and artillery. In the Synelnykivskyi district, the communities of Petropavlivka and Vasylkivka came under fire, resulting in fires in a block of flats, a garage and cars. Infrastructure was damaged in Kryvyi Rih, and the Zelenodolsk community was also shelled.

In the Nikopol district, strikes hit Nikopol and the Myrivska community. A woman who was injured during a previous attack sought medical attention. She was treated and will receive outpatient care. Firefighters extinguished the fires.

Kherson region
Over the past 24 hours, settlements in the region have come under drone attacks, air strikes and artillery fire. As a result of the attacks, one person was killed and three others were injured.

A multi-storey building, seven private houses, an administrative building, an industrial premises, a farm building and private cars were damaged.

Sumy region
Russian troops shelled 25 settlements in the region. Three people were injured. In the Mykolaiv rural community, a 49-year-old woman and two men aged 26 and 52 were injured as a result of a drone strike.

In the Sumy and Konotop urban communities, as well as the Khutir-Mykhailivska, Velykopysarivska, Seredyna-Budska and Zno-Novgorodska territorial communities, apartment blocks and private houses, a petrol station, farm buildings, a garage and a car were damaged. Criminal proceedings have been opened in relation to these incidents under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Donetsk Oblast
Over the past 24 hours, three people were killed in the region and a further 22 were wounded. The fatalities were recorded in Kramatorsk. The total number of casualties in the region stands at 4,011 dead and 9,120 wounded, excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Overall situation regarding air strikes
From the evening of 29 March, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 164 strike drones of various types. The launches were carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied Crimea.

As of 08:30 on 30 March, air defence forces had shot down or neutralised 150 drones. Ballistic missile strikes and strikes by 12 attack drones were recorded at seven locations, and debris was found at two sites. A few drones remained in the airspace.
