Utility services have restored heating to more than 1,600 buildings and are continuing their work after another attack on the capital.

As of the morning of 25 January, 1,676 apartment buildings in Kyiv remain without heat. This is the result of an enemy attack on critical infrastructure in the capital on 24 January. This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko on his Telegram channel.

According to available information, nearly 6,000 residential buildings were left without heating the day before due to damage to heating and energy facilities. Most of them have already been connected twice or attempts have been made to restore heat supply after the shelling on 9 and 20 January.

Since the evening of 24 January, utility services, together with energy companies, have been able to restore heat supply to more than 1,600 buildings. Work is continuing, with specialists continuing to repair the damage in order to restore heat to Kyiv residents' homes as quickly as possible.
