TV presenter Tetyana Syvokho has died following a long illness

The news of her death was reported by journalist Lesya Orlova, who stated that the cause was cancer.

TV presenter Tetiana Syvokha – wife of the late showman and former MP Serhiy Syvokha – has died in Kyiv.

Her death was reported by journalist Lesya Orlova. According to her, the cause of death was cancer.

In her post, Orlova wrote that Serhiy Syvokho “was full of life”, and it is now just as difficult to come to terms with Tetyana’s death. She also noted that Tetyana seemed “invulnerable” and “invincible”, but, in her words, within a few months she was “consumed” by cancer, which almost no one knew about.

The journalist also reported that following the deaths of Serhiy Syvokho and then his mother, Tetyana has now also passed away. According to her, the family is left with a son who is still very young.

Orlova wrote separately that Tetyana Syvokha passed away in Kyiv and, as far as she knew, had endured this period “with extraordinary dignity, determination, independence and strength”.

Serhiy and Tetyana Syvokha met in Donetsk when she was working as a news presenter. They married in the late 1990s and lived together for over 25 years.

The couple are survived by their son Sava. He was born in November 2000.

Serhiy Syvokha died at the age of 54 from chronic lung disease. He passed away in Germany.

The funeral service for Serhiy Syvokh took place at the October Palace in Kyiv. Colleagues from the show “League of Laughter”, including Stanislav Boklan, Volodymyr Dantes and others, came to bid him a final farewell. Serhiy Syvokh was buried in his hometown of Donetsk.

As reported by ThePublic, on 29 March, the artist Volodymyr Komarov, who was known for many years for his work on “The Mask Show”, passed away. The theatre reported that the cause was heart failure, and the funeral service is scheduled for 1 April in Odesa.
