Police have beefed up security at Points of Invincibility in Kyiv
In Kyiv, law enforcement agencies are working in enhanced mode to ensure law and order and security at the Points of Invincibility. In the context of the difficult situation with electricity supply, police officers, together with additional forces, patrol residential areas, central streets and places of mass gathering around the clock, as well as serve directly near the aid points.
There are currently 1,295 Points of Resilience operating in the capital. Here, residents can warm up, recharge their mobile devices, and receive necessary information and support. Kyiv police officers, cadets from the National Academy of Internal Affairs, and servicemen from the National Guard of Ukraine are involved in maintaining law and order.
Law enforcement officers respond promptly to citizens' requests, prevent possible offences, and provide psychological assistance — police psychologists are on duty at the centres. In case of problems with mobile communication, Kyiv residents can contact the police via WhatsApp and Viber messengers by connecting to Wi-Fi.
The police emphasise that even in difficult conditions, the city remains under control and the safety of Kyiv residents is an absolute priority.
