This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
The National Police of Ukraine reported that, in conjunction with the Security Service of Ukraine, it had prevented a series of terrorist attacks at educational institutions in the Kirovohrad and Odesa regions.
According to law enforcement officials, as part of comprehensive measures, two minors were identified whom Russian special services had attempted to use to commit particularly serious crimes – mass killings of children in schools.
The police noted that they had documented the process of recruiting the teenagers via social media and messaging apps, as well as their subsequent communication with handlers from the Russian Federation, who provided step-by-step instructions on how to prepare the terrorist attacks.
What happened in the Kirovohrad region
In the Kirovohrad region, criminal analysts, juvenile police officers and operatives promptly exposed a 15-year-old lyceum student.
Law enforcement officers established his contacts with a representative of the Russian special services, documented his preparatory actions and prevented the plan from being carried out.
During authorised searches, police seized a homemade explosive device, components for its manufacture, weapons, as well as computer equipment and mobile phones containing evidence of illegal activity.
What happened in the Odesa region
In the Odesa region, police, in conjunction with the SBU, exposed an 11-year-old minor at the very stage of his recruitment.
According to preliminary data, handlers from the Russian Federation planned to supply him with weapons to carry out an attack at an educational institution.
The National Police emphasised that thanks to a timely response and the coordinated work of the units, it was possible to prevent serious consequences and save lives.

Currently, as reported by law enforcement officials, SBU investigators have charged a 15-year-old suspect under Part 1 of Article 14 and Part 1 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
