Russia attacked Ukraine more than 3,000 times with air strikes in one week
Over the past week, the Russian Federation has used more than 3,000 air strikes against Ukraine. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the head of state, in seven days, the Russian army launched more than 2,000 strike drones, 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and 116 missiles of various types. The attacks were directed at Ukrainian cities and villages. Almost every day, the enemy struck energy and logistics infrastructure, as well as residential buildings.
The President stressed that the shelling continues even while diplomatic efforts are underway to achieve peace. In his opinion, ignoring Russian attacks only leads to their increase and intensification of cruelty.
Zelensky stressed that the aggression can only be stopped by providing real support to Ukraine. This primarily involves supplying missiles for air defence systems and weapons for the Ukrainian military, which are holding back the enemy's advance on a daily basis.
He also noted that constant and intense pressure on Russia is necessary for diplomatic efforts to be effective. The price of war for the Kremlin must become so high that continuing the aggression becomes unacceptable for it.
