Russia shelled the Kherson Thermal Power Plant at least five times in 24 hours
Over the course of 24 hours, Russian troops fired artillery strikes on the territory of the Kherson Thermal Power Plant, which is part of the Naftogaz Group. At least five hits were recorded. This was reported by the company's CEO, Serhiy Koretsky.
According to him, this is the fourth attack on the Kherson Thermal Power Plant since the beginning of February. The shelling is taking place against the backdrop of constant attempts by the enemy to disable heat generation facilities in frontline regions and complicate the heating season.
Naftogaz noted that the company is in constant coordination with local authorities and emergency services. At the same time, all possible scenarios are being worked out to provide the residents of Kherson with heat, taking into account the security situation and the consequences of further shelling.
