The Russian army has lost a further 1,610 troops in the past 24 hours
As of 20 March 2026, the total combat losses of Russian troops in terms of manpower since 24 February 2022 amount to approximately 1,285,700 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, losses totalled 1,610 troops.
These figures were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, 11,789 tanks have also been destroyed, including 3 in the last 24 hours; 24,254 armoured combat vehicles, including 21 in the last 24 hours; and 38,569 artillery systems, including 31 in the last 24 hours.
In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed 1,691 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,333 air defence systems, 435 aircraft and 349 helicopters.
Losses of tactical-level drones amount to 187,204 units, of which 1,480 were lost in the last 24 hours. A further 4,468 cruise missiles have been destroyed.
Among other things, the Russian army’s losses include 33 ships or boats, 2 submarines, 84,374 vehicles and tankers, of which 245 were lost in the past 24 hours, as well as 4,096 units of specialised equipment, of which 4 were lost in the past 24 hours.
The General Staff noted that the data is still being verified.
This is the third day in a row that the Russian army’s daily losses have exceeded 1,500 troops.
