Russia has attacked six regions of Ukraine in the past 24 hours; there have been fatalities and dozens of people have been injured
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched massive strikes on six regions of Ukraine. The attacks have resulted in fatalities, dozens of injuries, and extensive damage to residential buildings, transport and infrastructure.
Zaporizhzhia region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 903 strikes on 48 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Three people were injured as a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and the Zaporizhzhia district.
At least 116 reports of damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure have been recorded.
Dnipropetrovsk region
Since the evening, Russian troops have attacked five districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones on more than 20 occasions. Two people were injured.
In the Nikopol district, Nikopol, as well as the communities of Pokrovsk, Marganetsk and Myrivka, came under attack. An administrative building, a private house and cars were damaged.
Fires broke out in Pavlohrad, destroying more than ten cars, lorries and motorbikes.
In the Synelnykivskyi district, the Shakhtarska and Petropavlivska communities were hit. A four-storey building caught fire there, and two people were injured.
In Apostolove, Kryvyi Rih district, a petrol station was damaged. In the Dnipro district, the Solonyanska and Novooleksandrivska communities came under attack, where fires also broke out.
Mykolaiv Oblast
In the Mykolaiv region, one person was killed and four others were injured as a result of Russian attacks over the past 24 hours.
Donetsk Oblast
In the Donetsk region, one civilian was killed by Russian shelling over the past day. A further ten people were injured.
The fatality was recorded in Mykolaivka. Among the injured were four people in Kramatorsk, four in Novodonetsk and two in Druzhkivka.
Kherson region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces shelled 48 settlements in the Kherson region.
Three people were killed as a result of the attacks, and a further 45 were injured. Three children were among the casualties.
Kharkiv region
Over the past 24 hours, Kharkiv and a further 28 settlements in the region came under Russian attack.
Two people were killed and a further 48 were injured as a result of the attacks. A 15-year-old boy was killed in Kharkiv.
Among those injured in the city were 39 people, including girls aged 1, 8 and 17, as well as a 16-year-old boy.
The transit evacuation centre in Lozova took in 243 people over the past 24 hours.
