Russian troops have attacked five regions of Ukraine, resulting in casualties and damage

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have continued to shell Ukrainian regions. The Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions have come under attack, resulting in casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.

Zaporizhzhia Region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out 764 strikes on 44 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Four people were injured as a result of the attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district and the regional capital. Among them is an 80-year-old woman who is receiving medical treatment.

In Zaporizhzhia, work is ongoing to clear up the aftermath of the night-time attack in the Oleksandrivskyi district. Four apartment blocks have been damaged, with windows smashed and balconies destroyed. Non-residential buildings and premises have also been damaged.

Over the past 24 hours, 30 reports have been received regarding damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian troops attacked the Nikopol, Synelnykivskyi and Kryvyi Rih districts of the region more than ten times, using artillery and drones.

In the Nikopol district, the communities of Nikopol, Marganetsk, Pokrovsk and Chervonohryhorivka came under attack. Two high-rise buildings and a car were damaged.

A 60-year-old man was injured. He was hospitalised in a serious condition.

In the Synelnykivskyi district, private houses caught fire as a result of the shelling. In the Kryvyi Rih district, a car was damaged.

Kherson region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked 32 settlements in the Kherson region using drones, artillery and aircraft.

Thirteen people were injured, including one child.

Critical and social infrastructure facilities, three multi-storey buildings and nine private homes were damaged. A stronghold, a theatre building and private cars were also damaged.

Chernihiv region

During the night, a Russian ‘Geran’ drone attacked the village of Masheve in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district.

The strike caused a fire that completely destroyed the local school building and the property inside.

No reports of casualties have been received. The full extent of the damage is being assessed.

Kharkiv region

Over the past 24 hours, 12 settlements in the region came under Russian attack.

In the village of Rohozyanka, a 60-year-old woman was injured; in the village of Sinne, a 54-year-old man was wounded; and in the settlement of Velykyi Burluk, a 42-year-old man was injured.

In Savintsy, a 16-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were injured by the explosion of an unknown device. In Izium, a 31-year-old man was injured when a drone detonated.

Russian troops used multiple launch rocket systems, four guided aerial bombs, and ‘Geran-2’, ‘Lancet’, ‘Molniya’ and other drones.

In various parts of the region, residential buildings, farm buildings, power grids, cars, tractors, a workshop, storage facilities, railway infrastructure and a civilian enterprise were damaged.
