Russians are living in fear of a catastrophe — RDK commander
This warning was issued by Denis “White Rex” Kapustin, commander and founder of the Russian Volunteer Corps.
The Kremlin cannot ignore the fact that, over recent months, the Russian army’s losses on the battlefield have exceeded the number of those mobilised.
According to Kapustin, even Russians have already realised that Putin is planning to declare a general mobilisation.
Everyone in the aggressor country realises that the contract soldier model has finally run its course.
“The main source of contract soldiers was the regions themselves, whilst residents of major cities such as Moscow or St Petersburg, to put it mildly, are not very keen to go to war,” the RDK commander points out.
Kapustin added that during the first recruitment crisis, some regions of the Russian Federation offered contract payments ranging from 2 to 4 million roubles. However, the Kremlin will not be able to fund such a campaign for long.
Despite all these circumstances, Putin is not even considering ending the war. He still believes he can defeat Ukraine. At present, the dictator has only one option left – general mobilisation.
“If people aren’t going to war for money, then they’ll be mobilised. So Russian society is now, to a large extent, living in anticipation of an impending catastrophe. I am convinced this is exactly what will happen, because the next wave of total mobilisation, which is now likely to affect major cities, will become a significant problem,” warned the RDK commander.
As a reminder, Russian billionaire Andriy Melnichenko previously outlined five possible scenarios for Russia’s future after the war.
