The Unmanned Systems Forces have announced that they have struck a further 15 vessels belonging to the Russian Federation’s shadow fleet
Robert ‘Madyar’ Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that on the night of 13 July, Ukrainian units carried out strikes against 15 vessels belonging to the Russian shadow fleet.
According to him, the vessels hit included seven tankers, five dry cargo ships, one ferry and two tugs.
Brovdi also stated that between 6 and 13 July, effective strikes were carried out against 105 vessels.
He said that on the night of 13 July, in the temporarily occupied Crimea and other Ukrainian territories seized by Russia, nine power stations and substations of varying capacities were hit, as well as the strategic ‘Crimea’ electricity transmission point on the Kuban–Crimea power bridge. As the SBS commander noted, this facility was struck for the second time in 48 hours.
Furthermore, according to Brovdi, strikes were carried out against four air defence assets. He reported the destruction of an S-400 ‘Triumph’ launcher, a ‘Tor’ anti-aircraft missile system and two radar systems.
The commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces also stated that over the past 24 hours, UAS units had engaged 1,725 targets in the tactical depth across the entire front line.
