Secret agreement in Geneva: copies of the document were left to only two people
As reported by ThePublic.info, citing Financial Times, during negotiations between Ukraine and the USA delegations in Geneva, the peace plan was kept under maximum secrecy.
First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhiy Kyslytsia stated that after the meetings, only two copies of the document remained in the room. They were handed over to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, and U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
All other copies of the agreement, which were temporarily used by the negotiators, were confiscated immediately after the consultations ended. The document is now to be presented to the Presidents of Ukraine and the USA for personal review.
According to Kyslytsia, this format allowed avoiding leaks of the peace agreement's content, as the issues discussed are extremely sensitive.
