Rail passengers are being warned of significant changes to commuter train timetables in late March and early April. Due to scheduled maintenance of the rolling stock, some services will be temporarily withdrawn from the routes or will run according to an updated timetable

This has been announced by Ukrzaliznytsia.

Preventive maintenance is necessary for passenger safety, so railway staff ask for your understanding regarding the temporary inconvenience. The changes will affect several routes, particularly in the Sumy, Poltava and Carpathian regions.

Today, 28 March, trains No. 6242 Grebinka–Bakhmach and No. 6934/6548 Bakhmach–Romny–Romadan have already been sent for maintenance. Tomorrow, 29 March, work will continue on routes between Romodan, Romny and Bakhmach (services No. 6541/6542, No. 6543/6931 and No. 6245).

On Monday, 30 March, train No. 6404/6403 on the Ivano-Frankivsk–Yaremche route will not run. As an alternative, passengers are advised to use train No. 6402/6401 Ivano-Frankivsk–Vorokhta. From 31 March to 3 April, maintenance work will affect the Ternopil–Chortkiv route. Train No. 6277/6270 will not run from Ternopil on 31 March, 1 and 2 April, and from Chortkiv from 1 to 3 April respectively.

Ukrzaliznytsia emphasises that such measures are essential for the stable operation of transport services and urges passengers to check the timetable carefully before planning their journeys.
