The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the list of equipment for which businesses are reimbursed 15 per cent of the cost
The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the list of Ukrainian-made machinery and equipment for which the state provides compensation under the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy. From now on, businesses will be able to receive 15 per cent compensation on the cost of a further 18 new types of products.

This was announced by the press office of the Ministry of Economy.

The relevant amendments have been made to the Procedure for implementing the pilot scheme on partial compensation for the cost of domestically manufactured machinery and equipment.

“We are expanding the programme to meet the practical needs of businesses and utility companies. Following the update to the list, companies will be able to purchase 15 per cent more machinery for utility, road, construction and manufacturing works with compensation. For buyers, this reduces the cost of upgrading machinery and equipment; for manufacturers, it creates additional demand for Ukrainian engineering products,” said Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.

Eighteen new categories of machinery and equipment have been added to the list, including:

  • vans based on lorries;
  • dump lorries;
  • aerial work platforms;
  • combined road maintenance, sweeping and cleaning, and street-washing vehicles;
  • municipal cleaning vehicles;
  • pothole repair units;
  • industrial ventilation and filtration systems;
  • welding equipment, polymerisation furnaces and other production equipment.

In addition, the government has made the compensation mechanism more flexible. From now on, the contract price of equipment may differ from the indicative cost in the list by up to 15 per cent if the manufacturer’s costs for components, materials, energy, labour or production have changed.

According to the Ministry of Economy, since the programme’s launch – from November 2024 to May 2026 – 237 enterprises have purchased 519 units of Ukrainian machinery and equipment worth almost 1.5 billion hryvnias. The total amount of state compensation stands at 180.8 million hryvnias.

The programme currently covers 1,354 items of machinery from 50 Ukrainian engineering firms. Compensation amounting to 15 per cent of the cost (excluding VAT) applies to products with a localisation rate of at least 40 per cent.
