Over the past 24 hours, there have been 255 combat engagements on the front line. Russian forces carried out missile and air strikes, deployed thousands of drones and shelled Ukrainian military positions and populated areas more than three thousand times.

The 1,595th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 255 combat engagements took place on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian troops launched one missile strike using 71 missiles, carried out 95 air strikes and dropped 267 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 9,556 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,110 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 26 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces’ air force, missile forces and artillery struck five areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and eight drone control centres.

Ten combat engagements were recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Russian troops carried out 45 shelling attacks, one of which involved the use of a multiple launch rocket system.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled eight attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Starytsia and in the direction of Volokhivka, Izbytske and Chaikivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched one attack in the direction of Radkivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops made 24 attempts to breach the defences of Ukrainian units in the areas of Yampil, Nadiya, Novoselivka and Derylove, as well as in the direction of Borova, Stavky, Cherneshchyna, Drobyshove, Lyman, Ozerny and Dibrova.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out 24 assaults near Kryva Luka, Rai Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka and Zakytne.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 34 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopil and in the direction of Stepanivka, Toretsk, Kucherove Yar, Dovha Balka, Novopavlivka and Vilne.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 assaults in the areas of Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Filiya, as well as in the direction of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Vasylivka, Novopavlivka, Serhiivka and Novopidhorodne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched five attacks in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Ternove and Kalynivka.

On the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 14 attacks in the direction of Dobropillia, Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove and Huliaipole.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy attempts to advance towards Lukyanivskyi and in the area of Mali Shcherbaky.

In the Dnipro sector, no enemy offensive operations were recorded.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups have been detected.

According to the General Staff, the Russian army lost a further 1,200 troops over the past 24 hours. Nine tanks, five armoured fighting vehicles, 57 artillery systems, five air defence systems, 37 missiles, 15 ground-based robotic systems, 2,139 unmanned aerial vehicles, 399 vehicles and five pieces of specialised equipment were destroyed.
